Welcome to the Project Website for Mattamy Homes’ Neighbourhood Plan – Village of Richmond. The purpose of this website is to share information about the project, advertise upcoming events and public meetings, post technical studies/reports, provide regular updates regarding the Planning Approvals process and obtain feedback on the project as it evolves. Since March 2008, Mattamy Homes has been working with the City of Ottawa, Agencies (e.g. Rideau Valley Conservation Authority), the Richmond Village Plan Steering Committee and residents of the Village of Richmond to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan for their future development lands. More details about the Neighbourhood Planning Process are available on our Process page.
As part of our Neighbourhood Planning Process, Mattamy has engaged a Project Team with consultants specializing in design, planning, engineering, transportation, hydrogeology and the natural environment. Among the technical studies being conducted is a Master Servicing Study – Class Environmental Assessment (Schedule C undertaking), which will investigate servicing options for the Village. Throughout the Neighbourhood Planning Process, numerous consultation events such as workshops, information sessions, and public meetings will be held. See our Events page for a summary of past events and notification of upcoming events.
